Andi Bushati: Why stones and Molotov cocktails became inevitable

This youth revolt has had a great merit. It made known to the general public the most criminal side of this regime that had until now been preserved in the most secretive recesses. If the extremely peaceful revolution of the flamingos showed us that this government was no longer popular, its radical epilogue, with stones and Molotov cocktails, is serving to bring to light that the autocrat is capable of using any means to stay in power.

Protesters march towards the Prime Minister's Office, police fire tear gas

After about four hours in front of the Ministry of Education, where there were clashes with the police, the protesters have begun the march towards the Prime Minister's Office.

The crowd is moving along the “Martyrs of the Nation” Boulevard, followed by police officers.
Tensions have also been registered near the Ministry of Interior. Masked special forces have been positioned on the terrace of the building, who have fired tear gas at the protesters. The young people have responded with cheers and strong reactions, while the march towards the Prime Minister's Office continues.
