How Rama is leading the country towards civil strife

Insisting on violence, on arming civilians, on paying police officers as if they were mercenaries, alone does not produce peace. Edi Rama's fear of where he will end up when he is no longer prime minister does not have to become Albania's nightmare.

VIDEO/ Chaos continues in Tirana, violent clashes with police

A chaotic situation has been recorded near the bridge at the entrance to the former Block, in the Taiwan area, where protesters have blocked the road for police cars by placing trash cans.

According to footage from the scene, the "Eagle" forces confronted the crowd of protesters, and reportedly threw stones and other improvised means, including sidewalk bricks, at the citizens, in an attempt to disperse them.

The crowd of officers then retreated and positioned themselves on the bridge to prevent the movement of citizens. /LAPSI.al

Andi Bushati: Why stones and Molotov cocktails became inevitable

This youth revolt has had a great merit. It made known to the general public the most criminal side of this regime that had until now been preserved in the most secretive recesses. If the extremely peaceful revolution of the flamingos showed us that this government was no longer popular, its radical epilogue, with stones and Molotov cocktails, is serving to bring to light that the autocrat is capable of using any means to stay in power.
