How Rama is leading the country towards civil strife

Insisting on violence, on arming civilians, on paying police officers as if they were mercenaries, alone does not produce peace. Edi Rama's fear of where he will end up when he is no longer prime minister does not have to become Albania's nightmare.

Ervin Demo, hiding behind the curtains, threatens the protesters: Withdraw

The Minister of Internal Affairs, Ervin Demo, has reacted to the protests by threatening the young men and women who today filled the streets of the capital to express their anger.

"To today's arsonists and destroyers of public and private property, I say, retreat before it's too late, because between the enthusiasm of destruction in a crowd with masks and individual responsibility before the law, the latter may be delayed but will not be forgotten ," said Demo, hiding behind the curtains of an apartment or hotel.

Addressing medical students in particular, whom he described as among the best students, Demo emphasized that the government and the Socialist Party will support them, regardless of the political beliefs or positions they may have.

"I, the Prime Minister, our government, the Socialist Party, have been and are always with you and for you! Even when you are not with us, do not vote for us or think differently from us, we are here for you!" , said the minister who a day ago spoke out about police violence against young people.

Andi Bushati: Why stones and Molotov cocktails became inevitable

This youth revolt has had a great merit. It made known to the general public the most criminal side of this regime that had until now been preserved in the most secretive recesses. If the extremely peaceful revolution of the flamingos showed us that this government was no longer popular, its radical epilogue, with stones and Molotov cocktails, is serving to bring to light that the autocrat is capable of using any means to stay in power.
