How Rama is leading the country towards civil strife

Insisting on violence, on arming civilians, on paying police officers as if they were mercenaries, alone does not produce peace. Edi Rama's fear of where he will end up when he is no longer prime minister does not have to become Albania's nightmare.

Andi Bushati: Why stones and Molotov cocktails became inevitable

This youth revolt has had a great merit. It made known to the general public the most criminal side of this regime that had until now been preserved in the most secretive recesses. If the extremely peaceful revolution of the flamingos showed us that this government was no longer popular, its radical epilogue, with stones and Molotov cocktails, is serving to bring to light that the autocrat is capable of using any means to stay in power.

Lubonja raises concern: Is tear gas carcinogenic?

Analyst Fatos Lubonja has criticized the massive use of tear gas during student protests in Tirana, raising concerns about the consequences it may have on the health of protesters and citizens.

Invited to the show "Prime News24", Lubonja focused on the situation in "Skënderbej" Square, where according to him a large amount of tear gas was used.

"Skënderbej Square filled with tear gas. It was thrown massively. The most terrible effects are those that act on the larynx, the lungs and the carcinogenic effect."

"It is considered a chemical weapon, many human rights organizations have said that it should not be used against civilians. These are all evils, because above all they are ignorant," Lubonja declared.

The analyst expressed concern about the way the protests are being managed and the consequences of using tear gas on crowds, including young people and students. /BW
