How Rama is leading the country towards civil strife

Insisting on violence, on arming civilians, on paying police officers as if they were mercenaries, alone does not produce peace. Edi Rama's fear of where he will end up when he is no longer prime minister does not have to become Albania's nightmare.

Andi Bushati: Why stones and Molotov cocktails became inevitable

This youth revolt has had a great merit. It made known to the general public the most criminal side of this regime that had until now been preserved in the most secretive recesses. If the extremely peaceful revolution of the flamingos showed us that this government was no longer popular, its radical epilogue, with stones and Molotov cocktails, is serving to bring to light that the autocrat is capable of using any means to stay in power.

"My old lady doesn't know the TV remote control and not e-Albania

Democratic Party MP Saimir Korreshi clashed with the chairman of the Laws Committee Ulsi Manja during discussions on the draft law on artificial intelligence.

Korreshi criticized the situation in administrative units, arguing that there is talk of digitalization and artificial intelligence, while basic conditions, including computers, are lacking in the field.

He also brought up his mother as an example, saying that she does not know how to use the TV remote control and finds it impossible to use the services on e-Albania.

EXCERPTS FROM THE DEBATE:

Korreshi: We have torn pants and are moving to an A grade. Meanwhile, there is no computer in the field. If you wear it to our administrative units, we put an umbrella so that the rain doesn't get on the computer. They are a disaster, you are ashamed to enter, you say artificial intelligence. Miracles don't work there.

Manja: You're done with the questions, I believe, because you've had a discussion. We'll sort them out, you have other questions.

Korreshi: How quickly did you get tired?

Manja: No, I wasn't tired.

Korreshi: The MP comes in and none of the computers work. It doesn't turn on. My old lady doesn't know how to operate the TV remote, let alone access e-Albania, she says: "Leave this channel and don't play it." Our emails, you've changed the variant 17 times, I don't know how to drive it. This state is responsible. ©LAPSI.al
