Dinamo scared Paphos in Cyprus, but goodbye to Europe: Daja surrendered only in

Dinamo were just minutes away from another European story. After a 1-1 draw in Elbasan, the Blues scored first in Cyprus and managed to equalize at the end of regular time, sending the game into extra time. But in the last 30 minutes, Pafos struck twice and ended the dream of Ilir Daja's team. The Blues took the lead twice, but Pafos overturned everything in 120 minutes and won 4-2. Another European adventure ends in pain.

The Blues started with an advantage.

Dinamo went to Cyprus with a clear objective: to get what they lacked in Elbasan. And the start was perfect. Only eight minutes were enough for Fadairo to strike and give the Blues the advantage.

But the celebration lasted only five minutes. Sema equalized for Pafos and the match turned into an open battle, where any goal could change the fate of qualification.

From reversal to reaction

Pafos struck again in the 78th minute with Ioannou and seemed to be taking control of the qualification. But Dinamo did not give up. In the 87th minute the equalizer came and with it another 30 minutes to decide everything. It was the moment when character had to make the difference. But the extra time turned into a nightmare for the Albanian team.

In the 116th minute, Quina scored the third goal for Pafos. Dinamo needed one last reaction, but in the 121st minute Anderson Silva sealed the score 4-2 and finally ended the Blues' European journey.

An elimination that does not erase what was built

Dinamo leaves Europe after a match where they did not surrender to their opponent until the last seconds. Twice they found themselves in difficulty and twice they came back into the game. But in European football, 120 minutes require concentration until the last breath. Paphos had that calmness in the decisive moments, while Dinamo is left with the experience of an adventure that can serve as a basis for the future.

The dream ended in Cyprus, but this is precisely Europe: a battle where the difference is often made by a goal, an episode and sometimes even a single minute.

How Rama is leading the country towards civil strife

Insisting on violence, on arming civilians, on paying police officers as if they were mercenaries, alone does not produce peace. Edi Rama's fear of where he will end up when he is no longer prime minister does not have to become Albania's nightmare.

Andi Bushati: Why stones and Molotov cocktails became inevitable

This youth revolt has had a great merit. It made known to the general public the most criminal side of this regime that had until now been preserved in the most secretive recesses. If the extremely peaceful revolution of the flamingos showed us that this government was no longer popular, its radical epilogue, with stones and Molotov cocktails, is serving to bring to light that the autocrat is capable of using any means to stay in power.
