Elisa Spiropali has announced that her official Facebook page has been blocked for three days. She announced the news herself through a post on Instagram, where she explains that she is working with the company Meta to restore the account.
Spiropali has asked his followers to contact him via Instagram until further notice, while thanking them for their understanding and support.
"Dear friends, For three days now, my official Facebook page has been blocked. We are working closely with Meta to restore it as soon as possible. For all of you who have tried to write to me, until further notice, you can contact me directly here on Instagram. Thank you for your understanding and support!" , the MP wrote in her reaction.
The blocking of the page comes after Spiropali's critical stances on political developments in the country, including a call to Prime Minister Edi Rama to "open his arms" and pave the way for rotation within the Socialist Party. Her statement came at a time when the country is facing numerous student protests and dissatisfaction with the government.
