How Rama is leading the country towards civil strife

Insisting on violence, on arming civilians, on paying police officers as if they were mercenaries, alone does not produce peace. Edi Rama's fear of where he will end up when he is no longer prime minister does not have to become Albania's nightmare.

VIEWS/ 17-year-old breaks fence and enters US airport runway

Chaotic scenes unfolded on Saturday evening at Portsmouth International Airport in New Hampshire, US, when a 17-year-old, trying to escape police, drove his car onto the airport grounds, breaking a fence and then crashing into a truck trailer and a parked plane.

According to New Hampshire police, it all started shortly after 8 p.m. when an officer attempted to stop a black Ford Mustang. The driver, identified as 17-year-old Wyatt Seeley of Rochester, allegedly disobeyed the order and sped away.

The vehicle, according to authorities, was driving without its lights on and was heading towards the airport. A short time later, the Mustang crashed into the perimeter fence, which it destroyed, and then entered the area where the planes were parked.

The car hit a tractor and then a small plane, which was parked and fortunately had no passengers. The vehicle was stopped and police arrested the 17-year-old driver. The young man was then taken to a local hospital for medical evaluation. According to authorities, the young man is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to obey a police officer's order, dangerous driving and violation of prescribed obligations following a road accident. ©LAPSI.al

Andi Bushati: Why stones and Molotov cocktails became inevitable

This youth revolt has had a great merit. It made known to the general public the most criminal side of this regime that had until now been preserved in the most secretive recesses. If the extremely peaceful revolution of the flamingos showed us that this government was no longer popular, its radical epilogue, with stones and Molotov cocktails, is serving to bring to light that the autocrat is capable of using any means to stay in power.
