How Rama is leading the country towards civil strife

Insisting on violence, on arming civilians, on paying police officers as if they were mercenaries, alone does not produce peace. Edi Rama's fear of where he will end up when he is no longer prime minister does not have to become Albania's nightmare.

Shkodër/ Tried to kill his former friend in Calçot, the pistol did

An old conflict between two young men in Shkodër is suspected of having ended in an attempted murder inside a soccer club. Klaus Fermosi, 25, is wanted by the police, after allegedly attempting to shoot Jozefin Ujka, 26, on the evening of October 11. According to preliminary information, the 25-year-old entered the premises of the sports field and pointed a pistol at Ujka, attempting to shoot him. But the gun did not fire, preventing the incident from ending in tragedy.

At the time of the incident, other people were also in the car. They intervened to remove Fermos from the scene, while Jozefin Ujka escaped the gunfire. After the incident, the Shkodra police identified and declared Klaus Fermos a wanted man. The Blues continue to work to locate and capture him, as well as to fully document the circumstances of the incident. According to preliminary data, the two young men were previously close friends, but about five years ago they were involved in a conflict over a girl. At that time, the clash between them was resolved after the intervention of the families, who managed to calm the situation.

However, the relationship between them is suspected to have not been fully normalized. About a year ago, the conflict was reopened and clashes between the two young men have continued. The suspicions are that this early clash culminated on the evening of October 11, when Fermosi is suspected of having attempted to shoot Ujka inside the club, in an environment where other people were also present. The police continue their investigations to clarify the motives and full circumstances of the incident, while Klaus Fermosi remains wanted.

Andi Bushati: Why stones and Molotov cocktails became inevitable

This youth revolt has had a great merit. It made known to the general public the most criminal side of this regime that had until now been preserved in the most secretive recesses. If the extremely peaceful revolution of the flamingos showed us that this government was no longer popular, its radical epilogue, with stones and Molotov cocktails, is serving to bring to light that the autocrat is capable of using any means to stay in power.
