Is Balluku hiding villas abroad?/ Klodiana Lala: SPAK is verifying an asset in

Journalist Klodiana Lala has provided new details regarding SPAK's investigations into former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku. Invited to "Prime News24" with Nisida Tufa, Lala said that the Special Prosecution Office is verifying suspicions about assets that may have been hidden abroad.

According to the journalist, as part of the investigation, a letter of request was sent and there was an exchange of information regarding a property in Italy.

"SPAK is verifying suspicions about some assets that are suspected to be hidden abroad. There is a letter of request and exchange of information regarding an asset there. It is not known whether it is a villa or not ," Lala declared.

She stressed that verifications are still in process and that it is not clear the nature of the property for which information has been requested by the Italian authorities.

"If it turns out that he also has wealth in Italy, the situation becomes more serious for Balluk," the journalist said.

SPAK continues its investigations into Balluk, while the focus is also on verifications of assets and transactions that may be related to the case.

Earlier, the media reported that SPAK prosecutors, in cooperation with their Italian counterparts, have discovered another asset belonging to Balluk in one of the most exclusive locations on the Italian coast.

It concerns a luxury villa in Sardinia, which is suspected to belong to her, but is camouflaged in the name of other persons. There is still no official confirmation from SPAK on this issue. /LAPSI.al

Andi Bushati: Why stones and Molotov cocktails became inevitable

This youth revolt has had a great merit. It made known to the general public the most criminal side of this regime that had until now been preserved in the most secretive recesses. If the extremely peaceful revolution of the flamingos showed us that this government was no longer popular, its radical epilogue, with stones and Molotov cocktails, is serving to bring to light that the autocrat is capable of using any means to stay in power.
