Vizion Plus has published a video of the Zenellari family from Elbasan following several people who were suspected of robbing them of around 3 million old lek and 4 mobile phones.
The incident occurred in the "5 Maji" neighborhood, in the early hours of this Monday morning.
The head of the family, Lorenc Zenellari, confessed that the robbery lasted about 15-20 minutes and that the perpetrators repeatedly asked him about the money.
Zenellari points out that during the incident, the masked men threatened the family members and shot the homeowner's nephew.
The police arrived at the scene, but the perpetrators fled, abandoning a car.
"In the "5 Maji" neighborhood, citizen LZ reported that at around 04:05 in the morning, several unidentified persons entered his apartment and, at gunpoint, took 4 mobile phones and a sum of money.
Immediately after receiving the notification, the Police services went to the scene. As soon as they ascertained the presence of the Police services, the persons fled towards the hilly area, taking advantage of the darkness, and abandoned the vehicles. The pursuit to capture them continues.
Following the actions, 2 vehicles suspected of being used during the incident, clothing similar to Police uniforms and other evidence that will serve the investigative group in clarifying and documenting the case were found and seized.
"Work is being done to fully clarify the circumstances, identify and capture the persons involved in the incident," the police statement said. /LAPSI.al
