Punches and kicks between Juventus fans in the stands: the fight in front of the

The Juventus-Lazio evening at the Allianz Stadium was made even more somber by a violent brawl that broke out in the stands of the stadium in Turin. Chaotic moments, punches and kicks and the intervention of footballers who were near the section of the stand where the chaos broke out. The game was inevitably interrupted for a few minutes, while some people left the stadium thanks to the intervention of security guards and responsible personnel. The cause was quite banal: an attempt to catch a ball that had ended up out of bounds.

What happened at Allianz?

Shortly before the 15th minute of the match, after a long pass attempted by Mandas, the ball went out of bounds, but play did not restart immediately. The cause was unrest in the fan section near the barrier, very close to the playing field. It was not a clash between opposing fans, but a fight between Juventus fans themselves, who did not spare violent blows. Punches and kicks were exchanged, while a young boy and a middle-aged man suffered the worst. Both of them left, along with other people. Security workers had a lot of difficulty in calming the situation, which did not go unnoticed by the players either.

McKennie and, above all, Douglas Luiz tried to appeal to everyone to remain calm. The Brazilian in particular, with sweeping gestures, tried to calm the fans and get them back to their seats, even shouting “calm”. Referee Massa could do nothing but wait for the situation to normalise before restarting the match. Even the Lazio players were left shaken by what had happened. Zaccagni, in particular, seemed to be asking the referee to remove the fans involved in the brawl (“take them out”, the away team player seems to be saying).

The rest of the stadium, realizing that the situation had escalated, began to shout “fools, fools,” expressing the desire for the match to resume as soon as possible. A little later, the game resumed, after the protagonists of the fight left and calm returned to the stands.

What was the cause of these violent clashes?

According to preliminary information, everything may have started from an argument between some attendees who were trying to get the finished ball in the stands after it was removed from Mandas. What is certain is that this episode made the home team's evening even more memorable, for negative reasons.

How Rama is leading the country towards civil strife

Insisting on violence, on arming civilians, on paying police officers as if they were mercenaries, alone does not produce peace. Edi Rama's fear of where he will end up when he is no longer prime minister does not have to become Albania's nightmare.

Andi Bushati: Why stones and Molotov cocktails became inevitable

This youth revolt has had a great merit. It made known to the general public the most criminal side of this regime that had until now been preserved in the most secretive recesses. If the extremely peaceful revolution of the flamingos showed us that this government was no longer popular, its radical epilogue, with stones and Molotov cocktails, is serving to bring to light that the autocrat is capable of using any means to stay in power.
