"The end has come for you"/ Protesters leave the Prime Minister's

After speeches in front of the Prime Minister's Office, protesters have begun marching through the streets of Tirana. With banners in their hands and calls against the government, they are continuing their 112th consecutive protest. At the center of their demands remains the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama. Protesters have called this demand non-negotiable since the start of the rallies.

"The end has come for you," "Albania seeks revolution," and "Edi Rama, resign" are some of the chants accompanying the march.

How Rama is leading the country towards civil strife

Insisting on violence, on arming civilians, on paying police officers as if they were mercenaries, alone does not produce peace. Edi Rama's fear of where he will end up when he is no longer prime minister does not have to become Albania's nightmare.

Andi Bushati: Why stones and Molotov cocktails became inevitable

This youth revolt has had a great merit. It made known to the general public the most criminal side of this regime that had until now been preserved in the most secretive recesses. If the extremely peaceful revolution of the flamingos showed us that this government was no longer popular, its radical epilogue, with stones and Molotov cocktails, is serving to bring to light that the autocrat is capable of using any means to stay in power.
