"Rama, resign"/ Protesters march in the capital for the 133rd day

After speeches in front of the Prime Minister's Office, protesters continued their march through the streets of Tirana. On the 133rd day of anti-government rallies, citizens marched from the Shallvare area towards the Small Ring Road.

During the march, they repeated calls for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the entire government cabinet. The protesters declared that they would not withdraw from the mobilization, insisting that the rallies would continue until the government leaves.

How Rama is leading the country towards civil strife

Insisting on violence, on arming civilians, on paying police officers as if they were mercenaries, alone does not produce peace. Edi Rama's fear of where he will end up when he is no longer prime minister does not have to become Albania's nightmare.

Andi Bushati: Why stones and Molotov cocktails became inevitable

This youth revolt has had a great merit. It made known to the general public the most criminal side of this regime that had until now been preserved in the most secretive recesses. If the extremely peaceful revolution of the flamingos showed us that this government was no longer popular, its radical epilogue, with stones and Molotov cocktails, is serving to bring to light that the autocrat is capable of using any means to stay in power.
