Berisha in New Jersey: We will remove Rama, I ask for the support of the US

During his speech, at a meeting with Albanians in New Jersey, Berisha focused on the political situation in Albania and harshly attacked the government of Edi Rama. He accused the Socialist Party of links to crime and claimed that the majority is obstructing justice. Berisha also mentioned the case of former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, accusing the majority of not allowing the lifting of her immunity. He also raised concerns about the country's depopulation.

"I give you my word that we will reach the day of Albania's salvation. We will remove Edi Rama from the government," Berisha declared to supporters.

The DP leader also requested the support of the United States, referring to the positions of US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, on the fight against drug cartels.

"Liberating Albania from the narco-state is a mission. I ask for the help and support of the US in this battle," Berisha said.

During the meeting, he thanked the Albanian-American community and praised the role of the diaspora in the developments of Albania and Kosovo.

Experts: Kosovo risks entering a dangerous phase

Political experts are calling for political parties to decide as soon as possible whether they want to compromise on the election of the president or to call new elections. This is because, according to them, after October 5, Kosovo will remain without a president. Any delay in the formation of institutions before October is estimated to cost the country new institutional and political consequences.

How Rama is leading the country towards civil strife

Insisting on violence, on arming civilians, on paying police officers as if they were mercenaries, alone does not produce peace. Edi Rama's fear of where he will end up when he is no longer prime minister does not have to become Albania's nightmare.

Andi Bushati: Why stones and Molotov cocktails became inevitable

This youth revolt has had a great merit. It made known to the general public the most criminal side of this regime that had until now been preserved in the most secretive recesses. If the extremely peaceful revolution of the flamingos showed us that this government was no longer popular, its radical epilogue, with stones and Molotov cocktails, is serving to bring to light that the autocrat is capable of using any means to stay in power.
