A 28-year-old man, wanted and convicted of murder, has been arrested in Italy and is expected to be extradited to our country. Balla was declared an international wanted man by Interpol Tirana, after the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Dibër sentenced him in 2020 to 12 years in prison for the criminal offense of "Premeditated Murder", committed in collaboration.

Cooperation with counterparts continues for the capture and extradition of citizens declared internationally wanted. Another phase of the police operation codenamed “The Wanted” is finalized. A wanted person, convicted of premeditated murder, committed in collaboration, is captured in Bolzano, Italy. Citizen Vanxhel Balla, 28 years old, born in Dibër, is arrested for extradition purposes.
Citizen Vanxhel Balla was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Tirana, after the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Dibër, in 2020, sentenced him to 12 years in prison (9 years left to serve), for the criminal offense of "Premeditated Murder", committed in collaboration. This citizen, together with his brother, citizen AB, after a conflict for weak motives, killed citizen A. Z alias I. Z with a cutting tool (knife)
Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with Interpol Rome, is continuing the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Albania.
