Lubonja: Berisha just like Rama, neither the SP nor the DP reflected on the

Analyst Fatos Lubonja, in an interview for the show "Prime News24", commented on political developments in the country and the stance of political forces after the recent protest, emphasizing that the need for reflection does not only affect the government, but also the opposition.

According to Lubonja, Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Socialist Party must reflect in the face of citizens' dissatisfaction, but the Democratic Party must also analyze its role and responsibilities in the current political situation.

The analyst focused particularly on Ervin Salianji, who has consistently expressed the need for the renewal of the Democratic Party. According to Lubonja, Salianji could have taken concrete steps to change the party, taking into account his previous criticisms of Sali Berisha.

Lubonja noted that, according to him, such a reflection has not occurred and criticized the Democratic Party's stance towards the protest.

"All political forces, starting from the first prime minister and then from the opposition or other parties, should reflect. If Edi Rama should resign and the SP should find different ways to react to this protest, the DP should also reflect on its own, because it should think "we are also accused."

"Who better than Salianji, who claims to renew the DP, who has repeatedly said that Berisha is like Rama, should take certain actions to change the DP. This did not happen and the democratic party accepted the protest and Salianji was absent," he said. / BW

How Rama is leading the country towards civil strife

Insisting on violence, on arming civilians, on paying police officers as if they were mercenaries, alone does not produce peace. Edi Rama's fear of where he will end up when he is no longer prime minister does not have to become Albania's nightmare.

Andi Bushati: Why stones and Molotov cocktails became inevitable

This youth revolt has had a great merit. It made known to the general public the most criminal side of this regime that had until now been preserved in the most secretive recesses. If the extremely peaceful revolution of the flamingos showed us that this government was no longer popular, its radical epilogue, with stones and Molotov cocktails, is serving to bring to light that the autocrat is capable of using any means to stay in power.
