She had undergone chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant, and clinical trials. Doctors gave her about 1 year to live.
In that article, she wrote that she had tried her whole life not to bring any more grief to her mother, and that now she was adding another tragedy to the family without being able to stop it. She didn't even have time. She died on December 30, 2025, at the age of 35, leaving behind two young children.
So what's going on with the Kennedy family?
Interpretations of the endless tragedies experienced by this family vary. Biographer Edward Klein, who wrote an entire book about the "curse," described it as a conflict between the Kennedy family's sense of omnipotence and the harsh reality. Others speak of a family of dozens of members, exposed to powerful enemies, dangerous hobbies, private jets and suffocating publicity.
Kyle Kennedy lived almost her entire life in the shadow of this surname and the curse that comes with it. Her grandfather was killed before she was born. Her father disappeared when she was a child.
