Parliament starts tomorrow, first session purely formal

Tuesday marks the start of the new parliamentary session in Albania. 

According to the order signed by Parliament Speaker Niko Peleshi, the plenary session will be held at 5:00 PM.

Based on the details of the agenda, tomorrow's session will be mainly formal, as the focus remains on the opening of the proceedings of the 3rd session of the 11th Legislature of the Assembly of Albania.

The proceedings of the Assembly that will begin this week are expected to bring a series of topics, issues and tensions in Albanian politics, as this legislature foresees numerous discussions and decisions regarding preparations for the 2027 local elections, the Administrative-Territorial Reform, as well as the adoption of laws aligned with the European Union.
