DP leader Sali Berisha said that Artan Gaçi has been summoned to SPAK for a money laundering investigation related to arms trafficking during the time his wife, Olta Xhaçka, was defense minister. Berisha's statement was made at the parliamentary session.
"Where is this Xhaçka? Did you know or not, when she was Minister of Defense, she played the role of smuggling. Did you know or not? That's why, Albanian citizens, today she comes and votes blindly because she defends the arms smuggling that she carried out with her husband," Berisha said.
On Thursday morning, Artan Gaçi appeared at SPAK, but refused to speak to reporters. Meanwhile, SPAK prosecutors are investigating the movements that have taken place in the arms industry in our country and for this purpose have seized the cell phones of Israeli Ron Yeffet, KAYO head Ardi Veliu and the Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, Ardit Hysa, while they have seized numerous documents at the Ministry of Defense.
