Bayern Munich silences the "Yellow Wall" and wins the Super Cup:

Bayern Munich defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-1, silenced the “Yellow Wall” at the “Signal Iduna Park” and were declared winners of the German Super Cup. Nathaniel Brown and Michael Olise scored for the Bavarians in the match on Saturday (22), while Fábio Silva narrowed the gap for BVB in the second half. With the victory, Bayern Munich takes the number of German Super Cup trophies to 12. Borussia Dortmund, which is ranked second in the number of trophies won in this competition, remains with six titles.

The Bavarians completely controlled the first half, having around 70% of the possession and a clear lead in shots, 11-0. Bayern's dominance was confirmed in the 28th minute. Nathaniel Brown received the ball after a pass from Michael Olise and managed to beat Kobel, giving the home team the advantage. Dortmund had an attempt to react and sent the ball into the net with Bensebain, but the goal was disallowed for offside. When it seemed that the first half would end with Bayern's minimal advantage, Dortmund's defense lost its concentration in the extra minutes. Olise took advantage, headed towards the goal and beat the goalkeeper, doubling the Bavarians' advantage.

Borussia Dortmund looked completely different after the break. The home team increased their intensity, started to approach Bayern's area more often and created several clear scoring opportunities. Their efforts were rewarded in the 29th minute of the second half. After a beautifully constructed action with quick passes, Fábio Silva managed to score and bring Dortmund back into the game. The goal gave life to the challenge and created expectations for a possible overthrow, but BVB's comeback lasted only a short time. The situation was further complicated when Ramy Bensebaini was punished with a straight red card, leaving Dortmund with ten men. With the numerical superiority and the advantage in the result, Bayern Munich managed the remaining minutes and preserved the victory until the end. Thus, the Bavarians started the season with a trophy and with an important success against their great rival. On the other hand, Borussia Dortmund must be satisfied with an improved performance in the second half, but without managing to overturn Bayern's dominance and bring back the Super Cup to "Signal Iduna Park".

How Rama is leading the country towards civil strife

Insisting on violence, on arming civilians, on paying police officers as if they were mercenaries, alone does not produce peace. Edi Rama's fear of where he will end up when he is no longer prime minister does not have to become Albania's nightmare.

Andi Bushati: Why stones and Molotov cocktails became inevitable

This youth revolt has had a great merit. It made known to the general public the most criminal side of this regime that had until now been preserved in the most secretive recesses. If the extremely peaceful revolution of the flamingos showed us that this government was no longer popular, its radical epilogue, with stones and Molotov cocktails, is serving to bring to light that the autocrat is capable of using any means to stay in power.
