VIEWS/ Montenegro does not let the diaspora caravan enter Albania, takes them to

For hours, hundreds of Albanians from the diaspora who were going to come to Albania to join the civic protest against Edi Rama and his government had been blocked in Montenegro.

But the situation seems to have been unblocked, although not as it should have been.

On the Instagram page of the diaspora column 'For the Flag and for the Homeland', the immigrants write that the Montenegrin police have released them and are escorting them to Kosovo.

Afterwards, the convoy of diaspora Albanians will enter Albania to arrive in Tirana and join the citizen-wide protest demanding the resignation of Edi Rama and his government. /LAPSI.al

How Rama is leading the country towards civil strife

Insisting on violence, on arming civilians, on paying police officers as if they were mercenaries, alone does not produce peace. Edi Rama's fear of where he will end up when he is no longer prime minister does not have to become Albania's nightmare.

Andi Bushati: Why stones and Molotov cocktails became inevitable

This youth revolt has had a great merit. It made known to the general public the most criminal side of this regime that had until now been preserved in the most secretive recesses. If the extremely peaceful revolution of the flamingos showed us that this government was no longer popular, its radical epilogue, with stones and Molotov cocktails, is serving to bring to light that the autocrat is capable of using any means to stay in power.
