Supporters of the "Students Win" electoral list gathered in Belgrade this Thursday for their final campaign rally, marking the culmination of a movement that has attracted attention across the region and Europe.
In interviews with Reuters, students and teachers explained the strategy that enabled them to maintain the momentum of protests across the country.

According to them, the key to success lies in a methodical campaign across the country with door-knocking, peaceful marches, a tightly controlled media message, and a constant rotation of leaders to protect individuals from government smear campaigns that have helped maintain momentum in Serbia.

With protests erupting in cities across Europe, fueled by the high cost of living, lack of jobs and poor education standards, Serbian students say they have shown their strength and that of younger generations to openly express their grievances.
