As they warned, the professors have gathered in support of the students. A large number of professors have come together while expressing their pro-student stances. The Union of University Employees of Albania (SPUSH) joined the reactions against police violence against protesting students.
Their organization has started in front of the Polytechnic University of Tirana. A petition has also been created by the professors, calling for the students' demands to be heard.
Earlier in a public announcement, the union expressed concern about the situation created during the student protests, which have been ongoing for six days, and condemned what it described as police violence.
