Albania congratulates Ukraine on Independence Day: We will continue to stand by

Albania has once again reaffirmed its support for Ukraine on its Independence Day.

Through a message, the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs praised the courage and steadfastness of the Ukrainian people in defending their sovereignty and territorial integrity, emphasizing that this is also a defense of the principles on which a free and peaceful Europe is built. The Ministry emphasizes that Albania will continue to stand by Ukraine, in support of a just and lasting peace, the establishment of Ukraine's responsibility and right to become part of the European family.

“On Ukraine’s Independence Day, Albania stands with the Ukrainian people as they defend the very meaning of independence: the right of a free nation to determine its own future. Ukraine’s courage and resilience are a defense not only of its sovereignty and territorial integrity, but also of the principles on which a free and peaceful Europe is built. Albania will continue to stand resolutely by Ukraine’s side, in support of a just and lasting peace, of the establishment of responsibility and of Ukraine’s rightful place in our European family. Happy Independence Day, Ukraine!” the statement reads.

How Rama is leading the country towards civil strife

Insisting on violence, on arming civilians, on paying police officers as if they were mercenaries, alone does not produce peace. Edi Rama's fear of where he will end up when he is no longer prime minister does not have to become Albania's nightmare.
