The championship week has brought important results in both Shkodër and Durrës. Vllaznia has used the home field factor to get three points against Tirana, while Elbasan has managed to hold Teuta to a goalless draw, giving a positive start to coach Glen Daja's adventure on the yellow-blue bench.
Vllaznia wins at home, Tirana is punished for missed chances
Vllaznia triumphed 2-0 over Tirana at the “Loro Boriçi” stadium, confirming once again that Shkodër is a difficult opponent to face. The team led by Laszlo secured the three points thanks to a goal in each half, while Klafurić's white and blue team failed to take advantage of their opportunities to change the course of the match.

At “Niko Dovana”, Teuta and Elbasani were held to a 0-0 draw, in a match where neither team managed to find the back of the net. The result takes on special significance for the yellow-blues, who secured a point away from home in Glen Daja’s first match in charge.
Elbasan thus managed to interrupt the momentum of Teuta, which leads the championship, by obtaining a positive result after the defeat suffered in Korça against Skënderbeu. For the yellow-blue team, the draw represents an important reaction, especially in a difficult transfer. On the other hand, Teuta recorded its second draw in the first eight weeks of the championship. The Durrës team failed to use the advantage of the field to get the victory, while Elbasan continues to be characterized by equal results.
After eight weeks, Elbasan has five draws, one win and two losses, a balance that shows that the team has managed to get points in several matches, but still needs to turn more of them into wins. In week nine, Teuta will face Egnatia on the 29th, while Elbasan will host Partizan on the 2nd.
