Fire in Peqin

A large-scale fire has engulfed an area of ​​bushes, forest, and even olive groves in the village of Haspiraj, Peqin. 

The fire was identified in the afternoon and it took about 3 hours for fire crews to bring it under control and then completely extinguish it.

 
For several days, deliberate fires have occupied entire areas in the villages of Peqin.

The fall season always brings more fires due to the burning of agricultural lands by farmers, fires which then get out of control.

The Peqin Fire Department continues its appeal to citizens not to start fires. The strong wind of recent days has caused fires to spread widely, burning entire hectares of orchards.
