Young Scottish mother dies in Durrës, family seeks help for body

The family of the young British mother who was found dead in an Airbnb apartment in Durres earlier this month has made an appeal for help in returning the body. 

Ferne King, 25, from Fife, Scotland, died while on holiday with her 2-year-old daughter. Police and local media reported that the 25-year-old was discovered in her room by a cleaner who then called police.

It is reported that she suffered a heart attack while in her rented room. The 2-year-old girl was found next to her bed in good condition. Durres police forces also ruled out any criminal possibility. 

Her family are now struggling to raise the money to return her body home. In response, they have set up a GoFundMe page after being told they need £10,000 to repatriate her body. ©LAPSI.al
