After the closing speeches, protesters surround the Prime Minister's

After finishing their speeches in front of the Prime Minister's Office, the protesters announced that they would not continue the march, but would remain to surround the building.

On the 105th day of the anti-government protest, the Albanian diaspora also joined the rally, and the boulevard was filled with protesters. The main demand remains the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

"Edi Rama resigns", "Edi Rama in prison", "Without youth there is no Albania", "Down with the patronageists", "Albania seeks revolution" and "The end has come for you" are some of the chants heard during the protest. The atmosphere in front of the Prime Minister's Office remains tense, while protesters continue to stand on the boulevard.

How Rama is leading the country towards civil strife

Insisting on violence, on arming civilians, on paying police officers as if they were mercenaries, alone does not produce peace. Edi Rama's fear of where he will end up when he is no longer prime minister does not have to become Albania's nightmare.

Andi Bushati: Why stones and Molotov cocktails became inevitable

This youth revolt has had a great merit. It made known to the general public the most criminal side of this regime that had until now been preserved in the most secretive recesses. If the extremely peaceful revolution of the flamingos showed us that this government was no longer popular, its radical epilogue, with stones and Molotov cocktails, is serving to bring to light that the autocrat is capable of using any means to stay in power.
