Allegri wanted to return to the field, Mancini mocked him. The expulsion is

Allegri was sent off in the final minutes of the Napoli-Roma match. He confronted the fourth official, took off his jacket and left the field in a rage. This was one of the last images of a spectacular match at “Maradona”, which was also characterized by this moment of tension. The coach from Livorno left the bench making the gesture that has made him famous over the years: taking off his jacket. An iconic moment that began a few years ago in the Carpi-Juventus match and continued later, again when he was in charge of the Bianconeri, with his sensational protest at the “Olimpico”, in the final of the Italian Cup, which Juventus won against Atalanta.

Even at Milan, Allegri has repeated this gesture several times, so much so that it seems that someone might have gotten tired of seeing it, like Gianluca Mancini. The Roma defender was on the bench after the substitution and followed what happened closely. After seeing Allegri leave towards the locker room taking off his jacket, the yellow-haired center-back imitated it and it seems that he accompanied the gesture with an insult, raising his arm in his direction. Mancini imitated Allegri precisely, making the gesture of taking off his jacket. Even Malen, who was probably seeing Allegri so furious for the first time, started laughing, as if he wanted to make fun of the coach from Livorno.

Allegri was sent off after allegedly insulting the referee and the fourth official. "What did I say?" Allegri shouted immediately after seeing the red card. The former Juventus and Milan coach was so furious that after reaching the tunnel to the locker room, he tried to return to the pitch. Several Napoli staff barely managed to stop him.

Allegri's anger was clearly linked to the protests over the 3-3 equaliser scored by Balerdi. The latter took advantage of Beukema's lack of marking, who had ended up on the ground after a contact with Castro. As was seen during the match, the defender had exaggerated the alleged contact with the Argentine striker, lying on the pitch and leaving Roma's Argentine centre-back free to head the ball into the penalty area.

It was an unforgivable oversight, which Allegri probably didn't fully understand from the bench, as he strongly opposed the decision to confirm the goal instead of disallowing it, as he and the entire Napoli bench had wanted. They were claiming a foul for that contact even before the ball crossed inside the penalty area.

How Rama is leading the country towards civil strife

Insisting on violence, on arming civilians, on paying police officers as if they were mercenaries, alone does not produce peace. Edi Rama's fear of where he will end up when he is no longer prime minister does not have to become Albania's nightmare.
