Police have arrested former State Cadastral Agency lawyer Hidir Zani, who was wanted as part of the "Stolen Land" operation.
Against him, the Fier Court, with a decision dated September 17, 2026, had set the security measure for the 56-year-old "Arrest in prison", as he is accused of abuse of office in several cases while exercising his function as a lawyer at the Fier State Cadastre Agency.

Specialists of the Economic and Financial Crimes Investigation Section have detained citizen HZ, 56 years old, resident of Fier, who was wanted in the framework of the “Stolen Land” operation, which took place a few weeks ago. This citizen was wanted after the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Fier, with the decision dated 17.09.2026, assigned him the security measure “Arrest in prison”, for the criminal offense “Abuse of office”, in several cases.
Citizen HZ is accused of having abused his position as a lawyer at the Fier Criminal Court on several occasions. The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier for further action.
