Analyst Fatos Lubonja, as national protests have begun in Tirana, expressed that the current situation requires reflection from the Democratic Party and all political actors who are demanding the removal of Edi Rama's government.
According to Lubonja, the opposition must find the best way to increase participation in the protest and secure the greatest possible support in the upcoming elections, if the prime minister continues to refuse to step down.
"This is a moment that everyone should reflect on. The DP and all other political actors that are demanding the resignation of this government, to find the optimal solution on how to reach the largest number of people in protest and how to reach the largest number of voters in the upcoming elections," Lubonja told News 24.
The analyst said that, in his opinion, Rama intends to remain in power, describing this as a mistake for both the prime minister and his party, as well as for Albania.
Lubonja : My opinion is that this is a moment that everyone should reflect on. The DP and all other political actors that are demanding the surrender of this government, to find the optimal solution on how to achieve the largest number of people in protest and how to achieve the largest number of voters in the elections that may come, if Edi Rama continues to insist on not leaving, as I think he intends to do wrongly, both for himself and for his party, as well as for Albania, by staying there with police violence.
It is also appropriate to have a political opinion, not only emotional, but also political, on how to strengthen this protest and the mass of those who want Edi Rama out of politics and his government out of power.
