After the 2-1 triumph over Egnatia, the Dinamo coach put aside the sporting rivalry for a moment, giving a message of support to Nevil Dede and the Rrogozhin team for the results achieved in Europe. On the other hand, the champions' coach admitted the mistakes that cost the defeat, also praising the opponent.
Daja surprises on the broadcast: "We will support every Albanian team"
Dinamo's victory over Egnatia brought not only emotions on the field, but also a special moment off it. Ilir Daja chose to intervene during the interview that Nevil Dede was giving for the "Super Gol" show, taking the microphone for a few moments and publicly congratulating him on the performance of the Rrogozhin team in European competitions.
A spontaneous gesture, which overcame the rivalry created by the match and put the support for the representation of Albanian football beyond the borders in the foreground. "I publicly congratulate Egnatia on the results that it has in Europe. Any Albanian team that goes where Egnatia has gone, we will always support it", declared Daja, shortly after his team had won 2-1 against the reigning champions.
The words of the Dinamo coach were also accompanied by a hug between the two coaches, giving this moment a special meaning. Beyond the three points won and the importance of the result in the championship, Daja conveyed the message that the success of Albanian clubs in the international arena is a value that goes beyond the rivalry between them.
Dede analyzes the loss: "We must give credit to Dinamo"
On the other hand, Nevil Dede focused on the factors that contributed to Egnatia's defeat, admitting that the team lost concentration at important moments of the match. The team from Rrogozhina started the match well, but failed to manage the advantage and conceded two goals within a short period of time.
The champions' coach also tried to explain the problems that appeared in the defensive organization, especially on the right wing, where according to him the team had enough strength to avoid the spaces that the opponent exploited.
"Did their form also contribute to the distraction? You can accept anything. We had three forces on the right wing. Logically, we couldn't split like that," said Dede, referring to the way Egnatia allowed Dinamo to overturn the result.
The Rrogozhina coach also highlighted several moments where his team failed to maintain the proper balance, while also appreciating Duka's performance, for whom he had positive words.
Loss of concentration and difficulties in attack
Dede did not try to take credit for the victory away from his opponent, but he stressed that Egnatia should have handled the crucial situations better. According to him, the team became confused at certain moments and failed to properly supply the offensive players.
"We have to give credit to Dinamo, it's theirs. We lose concentration at certain moments of the game. We get confused, we didn't supply either Montenegro or Adjassa," declared the Egnatia coach.
Thus, the two coaches ended the match with different, but complementary messages: Daja celebrated a significant victory for Dinamo's objectives and expressed support for Egnatia's European journey, while Dede acknowledged the shortcomings that cost the points and praised the opponent's merit.
